At Tulip, we believe lasting change begins with empowering girls and women. In Nairobi’s slums, where poverty and broken systems limit potential, Tulip steps in to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity.
We focus first on educating girls, ensuring they do not drop out due to poverty or early marriage. Through full secondary school sponsorships including school fees, uniforms, and hygiene items we help girls thrive academically. But we go further. Through mentorship and discipleship, girls receive emotional and spiritual guidance to build confidence, resilience, and purpose. They grow into future leaders, breaking cycles of poverty and becoming change agents in their communities.
At the same time, Tulip supports the women raising these girls. We offer life skills training in

• Tailoring,
• Baking,
• Hairdressing, and
• Crafts skills that quickly become sources of income.

Our entrepreneurship classes and savings programs equip women to start small businesses and manage finances wisely.
Beyond skills, we offer spiritual discipleship, helping women heal from trauma and grow in faith. A woman anchored in Christ becomes a pillar of strength in her home and community.
